That Poetry Bloke

1 2 3 Poem

1 2 3 Poem

Craig Bradley aka That Poetry Bloke visited school for the day.  What an experience!  The Halifax Courier wrote ““This man plays with words and throws them around like half-bricks, with fine aim and great effect.” … never a truer word said!  The children were absolutely engrossed and enthused.  Thank you very much, Craig Bradley, poetry came to life!

Autumn 2015

What a fun time we had getting ready for Autumn!  Our challenge was to build scarecrows and we think you’ll be impressed with the results …

Xaral’s Dixie

We were very lucky to host the Xaral’s Dixie Band during the 2015 Durham Brass Festival organised by Durham County Council.

Made up of 8 musicians from Portugal, their cheerful and uplifting music played in the Dixie Style, gave the children happy feet!

Professor Brainstorm

The Professor promises to make Science Fun … and this he did when he visited Horndale Infants.  He brought his Magical Science Show which the children were mesmerised with!

Moon Magic’s Captain Marshmallow and Work Experience Astronaut Bobbie

Magic Carpet Theatre Group came in to school to perform Moon Magic. Our school hall became a Space Shuttle, the audience became the passengers on a thrill packed trip to the Moon. We had exploding robots, asteroid storms and strange plant life!

Captain Marshmallow and Work Experience Astronaut Bobbie were fantastic!
